Field Trip

     It is day three of my DIY journey. I began the day once again with work then I was off on my DIY field trip. My visit to Coffee AM was a sensual experience to say the least. As the front door opened, the scent oozed out encircling my senses drawing slow deep breaths from my body.  Okay that is a little dramatic for a DIY blog, but can you imagine working there every day? This was aroma therapy at its best. I sat down continuing to take in the magnificent aromas while I enjoyed the coffee inspired artwork. A few minutes later, Theresa, the friendly account representative, appeared.   She was even nicer in person. She offered to take me on a tour and of course, I accepted.

     The aroma was intense and more varied as we entered the shop. She introduced the young supervisor who was passionate about the coffee business and eager to share his knowledge. It was more technical than I ever imagined. And don’t be fooled by the “young” part. His expertise was well beyond his youthful appearance. From the selection of bean to the roasting and flavoring, Coffee AM epitomizes artisanship.

     I could not have asked for a better partnership for my journey. Thanks to Coffee AM and my new friend Theresa, I am well on my way to creating wonderful things.  I am attaching pictures from today. No finished product…..yet. J
